Web design has evolved a lot in last 20 years. Web pages have come a long way from being simple boring text pages to highly interactive pages. No one imagined web pages to be interactive to work on mobile devices and respond to touch (I don’t think anyone thought of mobile phones doing all they do today either in 90s).
