I came across this interesting quote and thinking about it all this is so true. New year is just a change of date, and nothing really changes, which otherwise may not change with change of date. The sun rises the same way and sets the same way, the routine of life remains the same. As I may say on a sarcastic note, same sh*t, different day or vice versa.
But yes, for many of us this is time or perhaps an opportunity or reason to make a resolution to bring some change in our life or routine in some way. My question is, why do we have to wait till new year to make a decision to do something to bring about the desired change in our life?
Time is continuum and life is ever evolving so why do we have to wait for a change in date to make decisions to improve and evolve in life? So, from now make the decisions and promises as soon as you think you need them instead of waiting for a reason like change of date.
Change of date is and will always remain as an arbitrary division in the continuum of time and life and nothing more. It is a milestone in History not in life where the story continues, it does not end or begin.
