No one Ever knows
when it’s Time to Go,
There’ll be no Time
to enjoy the Glow,
So sip your Tea
Nice and Slow.Life is too Short but feels pretty Long,
There’s too Much to do , so much going Wrong,
And Most of the Time You Struggle to be Strong,
Before it’s too Late
and it’s time to Go,
Sip your Tea
Nice and Slow.Some Friends stay,
others Go away,
Loved ones are Cherished, but not all will Stay ,
Kids will Grow up
and Fly away,
There’s really no Saying how Things will Go,
So sip your Tea
Nice and Slow.In the End it’s really

Appreciate and Value who truly Cares,
Smile and Breathe

So, Just Sip your Tea
Nice and Slow
Sip your tea, nice and slow is a beautiful poem by Ann Lee Tzu Pheng, a Singaporean poet.
Poetry is an expression of the poet’s experiences in life and in many ways these poems and prose remind us of the true reality of life.
This poem to like many others remind us of so many things we take for granted or just forget while we are busy in things which actually do not matter in the end. The poem is beyond all relationships and I think everyone can relate to it.
In the words of Ekhart Tolle, most humans are never fully present in the now, because unconsciously they believe that next moment must be more important than this one. But then you miss your whole life, which is never not now. And that is the revelation for some people to realize that your life is only ever now.
In today’s rush we all think too much, seek too much and want too much and forget about the joy of just being.
Hello, I would like to know if I could get permission from the poet to turn this poem into a song. It is a beautiful poem and would also be a nice song. I would like to share the song with family, friends and on social media. I have been turning poems into songs for a poet in the UK who writes poems for people who are trying to cope with grief, anxiety and depression and he shares the songs with his followers. Reading the words in a poem gives comfort to people and turning it into a song takes it a step further as they are able to listen to the words while driving, travelling in the bus/train etc. This poem in particular is ideal for all the that have been mentioned above. If I’m granted the permission I will send the song to the poet. I enjoy creating and sharing my music.
Thank you
Best regards
Johann
So touching. This is really amazing ?? love it. This is life
Carpe Diem… thankyou for this beautiful reflection, we all need help finding, just now, as it is often an illusive butterfly flitting from flower ? to flower in search of the greener pasture of sweet nectar ..
It is true KWT, most of us forget to enjoy the moment, either in anticipation of future or sometimes, memories from past. NOW is the key.
V true. One can easily relate with the poet expression.
We miss the NOW by constantly thinking about tomorrow and days after
Yes Poonam, people don’t realize that future is just an anticipation in your mind.
